Videokonvertteriohjelma 'Subtitles to Video, Permanently', aka 'SubVideo.exe'


Se on siis tarkoitettu liimaamaan tekstitykset (.srt, .sub,...) videotiedostoihin, joita voi sitte katsoa sillä pojan vanhalla internet tabletilla reissun päällä:

  • käyttää 'mencoder'ia enkoodaukseen.
  • ilmainen kaikille
  • ei sisällä mitään vihamielistä koodia

  • ei vaadi asennusta, suorita vain exe
  • drag & drop, aika pirun simppeli
  • soveltuu kyllä aika paljon muuhunkin videokonversioon, vaikka .mkv:t .avi:ksi
  • MSIL eli open source :)

The program is meant for attaching permanent subtitles (.srt, .sub,...) to video, so you may watch them with your children's old media players or your Nokia Internet Tablet.
Some info:
  • uses 'mencoder' for encoding
  • free (as in 'free' or 'free gratis' or just 'gratis', beer is not free)
  • no malevolent code
    (executable MD5 sum: a5fa0dfd694c0633941a2ea9829caf2e)
  • no installation required and no config files, just run the exe
  • drag & drop interface, it's pretty damn simple to use
  • can be used for general video conversion too, eg. those annoying .mkv files -> .avi
  • MSIL => open source :)
